PCR Platform:

The laboratory has multiple real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR instruments including SLAN®-96P Real-Time PCR; Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q ; Applied Biosystems™ - 7500 Real-Time PCR; Applied Biosystems ViiA 7 and QuantStudio™ 5 realtime PCR platforms.Our lab is also equipped with digital PCR instruments including Roche Cobas Z480; Applied Biosystems™ QuantStudio™ 3D digital PCR. Furthermore, we have Qiagen QIAstat-Dx Analyzer with multiplex infectious pathogen testing ability, e.g. respiratory pathogen SARS or COV.

Capability demonstration:

MEDx’s molecular platform can quantitatively detect the copy numbers of foreign vectors based on well-established qPCR solutions, which has been applying to many drug developing projects for preclinical safety or drug distribution analysis, such as CAR-T RCL and VCN, oncolytic virus abundance analysis, etc. The number of sample testing conducted by our platforms has been over 10,000.MEDx lab also provides digital PCR-based solutions for high sensitive somatic mutation detection, such as circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), serving liquid biopsy for EGFR, ERBB2 and other biomarkers .

NGS platform:

MEDx’s molecular platform currently provides one-stop clinical diagnostic sequencing services utilizingIllumina NovaSeq 6000, NextSeq500, Miniseq sequencer, and Qiagen Genereader. The established capabilities include WGS, WES, mRNA-Seq, lncRNA-Seq, miRNA-Seq, targeted enrichment sequencing, single-cell genome/transcriptome sequencing, immune repertoire sequencing, and lentiviral insertion site detection, etc. The platform has successfully obtained the inter-laboratory quality assessment and capability certification provided by the National Center for Clinical Examination (NCCL) and the College of American Pathologists (CAP). MEDx’s molecular platform has completed 20+ methodological development and validation, and supported more than 40 clinical trials by testing thousands of clinical samples.

Single Cell Sequencing:

MEDx central Lab is equipped with Chromium 10x genomics and Fluidigm C1 single cell platform along with a team of experienced bioinformatics experts. With multiple single cell research platforms, we can provide help in both pre-clinical or clinical studies e.g. new drug targets discovery; treatment progress monitoring; drug resistance identification and patients stratification in clinical studies.

Capabilities

We rovide services on single cell DEG in cell subpopulations/clusters/types; single cell immune profiling (TCR/BCR); trajectory and pseudo-time analysis; ATAC-seq; On-target or off-target CRISPR validation on single cell level. Both high-throughput sequencing and quality controlled single cell preparation solutions are available in our laboratory.
